Welcome to the Phd in Health Sciences, is a post graduate focused in the training of researchers and teachers are highly competent. Our program stands out for its ethical approach and critical in the generation of knowledge to address health challenges at global and national level. Inspired by the concept of "One Health" of the WHO, we adopt an interdisciplinary approach, addressing health issues from various perspectives, including environmental factors, socio-economic and personal.
Guided by the Educational Model of San Marcos, we highlight the formation student-centered, research, and the ethical development of competencies. Our academic body, recognized and competent, along with seven Research Institutes and partners, strengthens our vision interdisciplinary.

II Mini Supplier Fair organized by the Doctoral Program of Excellence in Health Sciences
With the aim of fostering a space for direct exchange between suppliers and the scholarship recipients of the Doctoral Program in Health Sciences funded by CONCYTEC, as well as the broader San Fernando community, the 2nd Supplier Mini Fair 2025 was successfully held. The event was organized by the Doctoral Program of Excellence in Health Sciences.
Throughout the event, attendees had the opportunity to visit various informational booths and take part in specialized presentations, which addressed key topics such as service innovation, best practices in procurement, and technological solutions applied to the sector.

Objectives of the programme
To train researchers of excellence in biotechnology and health, promoting the approach of A Health (One Health). It seeks to develop the academic excellence and creativity of the participants, to foster a critical attitude and proactive meet the challenges of global health.
The programme aims to train professionals with a holistic understanding of the Health Sciences, trained to lead projects of interdisciplinary research and to contribute to the design of health policies based on evidence, communicating effectively their findings to the scientific community and society in general.
Distinctive characteristics
Strategic alliance with universities in the united States, Europe, and Asia to develop our program, focused on "One Health"
Scholarship integral to academic expenses, development of thesis, degree, passages, internships, and costs of publication of articles.
Grant of S/ 6,500 per month for 36 months for living expenses (ProCiencia).

Nomination requirements
- Proof of registration of the application to the Scholarship Program of PROCIENCIA www.prociencia.gob.pe.
- Proof of registration SUNEDU of the Master of science degree or Certificate of Lift fedateada.
- Curriculum vitae documented with emphasis on the past five (5) years.
- Profile of the doctoral thesis project.
- Certificate of English language intermediate level.
- Letters of presentation of two researchers (domestic or foreign).
- Letter of motivation of the applicant.
- Receipt of payment for registration fee (Bank of Credit or Bank of the Nation).
